The Children's House Classrooms
Ages 3 to 6 years
Innately within each of us is the desire to reach our highest
potential. This begins at an early age.
At Montessori Creative Learning School, we strive to take
that desire and challenge young minds.
Key Elements
-An environment where each child progresses at his/her individual pace. No student is required to work outside of their ability or be held back by classmates.
-A multi-age classroom where students remain for multiple years creates security, stability and academic flow. This type of continuity has been proven to have tremendous social and emotional benefits for young children.
-Independence and freedom allows a child to explore, make their own choices, and experience natural consequences. This freedom builds confidence and inspires a child to make intelligent choices.
-Unique Montessori materials found in each area of the classroom progress from simple to complex. The order is logical and systematic allowing a child to be challenged and become proficient at a skill before moving to the next level.
-Hands-on materials enable students to put their thoughts into action. Working with a material numerous times fosters discovery and the ability to solve problems while developing concentration.
-Grace and courtesy is woven into the relationship between students and staff. Bonds of mutual respect are formed between classmates. This social interaction molds a kind and caring person.
